1.

Cheung Ling was the only son of his sick father

Cheung Man. He has also left a younger sister, and a mother.

For Cheung lian.........$300

Cheung Chik-lin's wife and a daughter were also killed, and his son Cheung Shap-ng has inherited his debts. There is no proof that Cheung Chik-lin and his wife had, as their son says, over $1000 worth of personal property on board, but it is fair to say that they had at least $500 worth, besides leaving debts amounting to over $1000 to the

boat-builders and fokis.

Cheung Shek-yung leaves a wife, Kwok uk-kan, but

For Kwok Auk-kan.

4. Ho Kau has left a wife, Fan Tai-hei, a 13 year-old

daughter, and a crippled mother.

Ho Yun-tai, Ho Kau's brother, appears to have had no wife, but Chan Sam his crippled mother now only has one

of her sons, Ho Tim, to help support her.

Cheng Kun-yau's wife was Chan Kan-mui, one of the two injured women that were rescued.

He has also left a

widowed mother Ho Shap-mui, who has however another son Cheng Hei-yau still alive as well as her daughter-in-law though a third son Cheng Hung-fuk was also killed in this

attack.
